Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Recently, I installed the latest BIOS Update version F. 51 to get support of Windows 10 (1903).

But after I installed the BIOS, any graphics drivers give me a blue screen. I did many clean-install with DDU and install any graphic drivers in HP support and some version of drivers from AMD drivers website, but nothing works. Those graphics drivers still give me blue screen.

anybody can help? thanks!

My laptop spec: AMD 12-9720p (Bristol Ridge) + Graphics R7 M340/535DX

Thanks for your replies,

I have downloaded and installed that driver version but it's still doesn't work. My laptop got crash while installing the drivers and I should uninstall it with ddu.

Do you have any other solutions?

Or should I downgrade my os?

Thanks for the fast reply,

I did several system reset.

But it doesn't fix anything, I still get bsod while installing or after installed the "crashed" driver.

But I found the way to keep using my laptop after installing the driver by disable AMD Radeon TM M340 from device manager and stick to use R7 Graphics driver only.

But sure, it doesn't give me the full potential of the graphic system.

Do you have any solutions?

Thanks.

@Diemsa,

I recommend you download and install HP support assistant from the below link and it will automatically detect and install all the latest drivers available for your computer.

Here is how it is done.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
