I have a HP laptop that I purchased a week back. At that time it was running win 10 and AMD catalyst software. I updated the pc to win 11 and latest amd radeon software that is 21.5.2. But now the device manager and amd software both are showing that amd 530 has been changed into amd r7 m340. I have done my research and I have found out a huge performance difference between the two.
I contacted the amd and they told me that I should contact Hp and tell them my problem. I have reinstalled the drivers, have updated the latest version of windows and all my pc is up to date. I have also tried some hacks that I read in the threads but still have the same problem. I really hope somebody can help me. Thanks.

Hi@Abdullah38,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing performance issues with the HP Laptop after the update.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
- launch the Windows "Task Manager", and switch to its "Performance" tab.
- Issues with the background running startup tasks. System drive having low disk space.
- Adjust how your computer uses memory resources
- Reduce heat inside your computer
- Optimize your PC and speedup your laptop
- Clean up junk files
- Control when applications run
If issue persist then try doing Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
