Hi, everybody.
I'm from Kazakhstan. In March, 2012 I bought the HP Pavilion dv7-6b52er. After 3 years it's videocard was gone. For today I'm using this notebook with built-in Intel Graphics adapter.
Could you, gyus, help to find that original AMD Radeon card. I"ll buyiif it in good condition.
Or give to a seller's url-link...
Thank youz!

No, friend, you're wrong.
Had you even dissassemble this notebook?
I had. Much times. And you know, I saw there are PHISYCALLY a Videocard wtih copper tubes and cooler and a bus connected to it's slot on a motherboard.
So it is absolutely a SEPARATE graphics card.
And a chip that is soldered and integrated onto the motheboard - It is an Intel Graphics 620 with max resolution 1024x768.
Whem I install drivers for AMD, notebook goes to BSOD.

I don't have to disassemble the notebook.
The manual clearly indicates that the graphics adapters are integrated onto the motherboard.
And the heatsink does have copper tubing and covers the processor and both of the GPU's on the motherboard.
There are no separate video card parts. Just motherboards with different GPU setups.

Also that model has the Intel HD 3000 graphics, not the HD 620, so you are obviously referring to a totally different notebook, or some contraption that someone modified.
Good luck finding something that doesn't exist.
One of us has no clue what they are writing about, and if you really have a dv7-6b52er, then it sure as heck isn't me!

Ok, thanks, man.
I was wrong mixed up heatsink with video card. I disassembled this n-book 3 years ago and don't remember accurate details.
So could you advise what to buy for recover it's working? As I wrote, after installing drivers for AMD the n-book goes to BSOD or doesn't start up.
Thank you...

You're very welcome.
As I wrote the other day, you are going to need a new or refurbished motherboard.
I can't find any specs on the processor your notebook came with
If yours has an Intel dual core processor, you would need this one...
For use only with computer models equipped with the Intel 6770 chipset, a dual core processor, and a graphics subsystem with 2048-MB of discrete memory HP Part #665992-001
If yours has an Intel quad core processor, then you would need this one...
For use only with computer models equipped with the Intel 6770 chipset, a quad core processor, and a graphics subsystem with 2048-MB of discrete memory HP Part # 665991-001.
Now, here is the problem with replacing the motherboard (other than I have no idea where you can find one).
That is Windows...When you replace the motherboard, to Microsoft a new motherboard = a new PC, and Windows will need to be activated again.
In order to activate windows, you will need to be able to read the 25 character W7 product key on your PC's case.
If you can't read the product key, you will need to buy a new copy of W7 with a valid product key.
Personally, unless you can find a motherboard real cheap, you would be better off buying a new or refurbished notebook that is newer than what you have now.
it's time to retire your trusty old notebook and move on.

Unfortunately, you can't download W7 from Microsoft directly.
You can download Home Premium 64 bit from this site but I don't know if it lets you choose Russian as a language to install and I don't know if it will work with the W7 OEM product key on the sticker.
Sometimes you can download W7 OEM from this site, but currently it is not working. You can check back from time to time and see if they get it running again. You would selec the COEM files from the downloader utility.

But if W7 is working on your PC right now, if you decide to get another motherboard, you don't have to reinstall W7, you just have to change the product key to the one on your PC's case after you replace the motherboard.
