HP Notebook - 15-ac110nh
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I got a brand new HP Notebook - 15-ac110nh Model #: P5Q28EA with a graphic card AMD Radeon (TM) R5 M330 version 15.300.1025.1001 (12/4/2015). I tried all the sources to find the suitable driver for this video card (downloading from HP site , AMD site, HP Support Assistant, etc) and I still don*t have one !!!! None is working ! The computer runs only with the integrated video card and AMD card remains disabled in Device Manager .
What should I do ? Please give me a solution ! Thank you in advance !

You mentioned needing Win7 drivers, but you didjn't mention which OS your PC came with preinstalled -- Win7 or Win10.

If it came with Win7 preinstalled, then why are you messing around with drivers at all??  The correct drivers came preinstalled with the machine, and anything else you go after is most likely NOT going to work.  Because your machine has switchable graphics, drivers you download from AMD are NOT going to work, as they are not designed for switchable graphics PCs.

The link is to the HP Product page for your PC:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/8499326/model/9015106

If Windows 7 does not show when you open the page, click Change and select Windows 7 from the pulldown.

The video drivers you need are under Driver-Graphics.

Good Luck

Hello herr professor !!!!

Thank you very much for your quick answer ! It is true I didn't said anything about the OS. I bought this laptop brand new and it came empty as a bottle  ....I mean only with free Dos . So,  being used not to get anything from producer, I started as always, to install a fresh version of WIN 7and to find my drivers.....first, of course from HP site. In conclusion I have already tried to install the drivers you recomanded .....but still don't work !!!!  I downloaded all drivers from that page and all are working great.....except video graphics . Do you think I could do anything wrong during the installation ????  or .....however is possible to be unsuitable ?

I am not a specialist in computing, but I have a small observation : I installed HP Support and here tells me that the graphic adapter from my laptop is AMD Radeon (TM) R5 M330 version 15.300.1025.1001 (12/4/2015) and on the HP net page the driver has version 15.200.1055.0  (Dec 25, 2015) ?????? What do you think ?

Thank you again !!!!

Unless you installed Win7 from HP media, that will not have the drivers needed for your PC.  To get those drivers, the best way is to reinstall your OS from HP Recovery Media.  This is a set of DVDs and a CD that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, settings, and applications, reinstall the original OS, drivers, and some HP Utilities. In some cases, you may be able to order a USB stick instead of disks.  You have to order these from HP; they can not be downloaded.

You can look online for Recovery Media starting with the linked paged: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, input your Product name or number. On your Software and Drivers Download page, select your Operating System and and Version. Click "Update".  If HP Recovery Media is available for your machine, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for Order Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click the "+" symbol to expand that entty and click on Order Media for details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Note that if HP no longer provides Recovery Media for your model, a couple of other sites you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/  and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Good Luck

Hello !

Thank you again for your answer !

I followed your advise and I contacted HP service in my country and after some mails they where they gave me the same sollutions as dowload from HP site, AMD site and other dumb ideas, finally they said that is not HP fault, they don't have another driver and can't help me and the sollution is from Microsoft because I have a Win 7 OS, because the laptop came without a preinstaled OS. What do you think ? Is that possible or they are just "impotent" and is more easy to throw the dead cat into the neighbor yard  ?

Thank you for your sincere opinon !

Not having access to the PC, we're not in the position to troubleshoot the driver problem.  All we can do from here is recommend drivers from the HP Product site based on the product number of your PC.

The link you provided in your post IS the correct link to the product page for the Graphics drivers.  They should be working on your PC.

A possibility is that, since these are basically customized AMD drivers, you have to completely remove them before reinstalling them.  This is a link to the AMD driver removal utility:  http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx

I would try running that, rebooting your PC, and THEN, try reinstalling the downloaded HP drivers.

That should work out better for you.

Good Luck
