Hi,
I have the HP notebook W7T00EA (HP 15-ba010nt). The notebook has AMD A10-9600P (with Radeon R5 APU) as its CPU and AMD Radeon R7 M440 (with 4GB VRAM) as its discrete GPU. Here is my problem:
When I try to update my graphics drivers from the Device Manager, Windows installs AMD Radeon Settings version 16.6
When I use the AMD auto-detect tool from the official AMD website, or select my APU from the list on the AMD website, it shows me AMD Radeon Settings version 17.7.2
Version 16.6 shows my discrete GPU as AMD Radeon R8 M445DX.
Version 17.7.2 shows my discrete GPU as AMD Radeon R7 M340.
As you can see, none of these drivers show my discrete GPU as the original AMD Radeon R7 M440.
I tried using HP Support Assistant and searching on Windows Update, but both of these either install version 16.6 or version 17.7.2
Which driver version should I install? HP Support Assistant or AMD auto-detect tool simply does not find the true drivers. Please help me, I am searching for this issue for months.

Use the HP drivers. They are specific to your hardware and designed to handle the switchable graphics.
The dedicated part of the video chip in reality is an R7 M340, but it is actually the same or possibly a little more capable than an R7 M440 which is what you thought you were getting.

Is this the right one? I found this release document from the HP drivers page for my notebook. Just to be sure, so I can accept your solution.
Edit: It installed version 16.6, so I will use this version from now on. Thanks.
