Hello,
Using an External Monitor
Connect an External Monitor:
Connect your laptop or desktop to an external monitor using an HDMI, VGA, or DisplayPort cable.
If the external monitor displays correctly, you can proceed to update drivers.
Access HP Support Assistant:
Open HP Support Assistant on the external monitor.
Go to My devices > Updates and check for new drivers.
Booting into Safe Mode
Restart in Safe Mode:
Restart your computer and press F8 (or Shift + F8) repeatedly before Windows starts to load.
Select Safe Mode with Networking from the Advanced Boot Options menu.
Update Drivers:
In Safe Mode, open HP Support Assistant or Device Manager.
Update your graphics drivers from there.
Using Remote Desktop
Enable Remote Desktop:
If you have another computer, enable Remote Desktop on the affected machine (if it was set up previously).
Connect Remotely:
Use Remote Desktop Connection from another computer to access the affected machine.
Update drivers through HP Support Assistant or Device Manager.
Using Command Prompt
Open Command Prompt:
If you can access the Command Prompt, you can use it to update drivers.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, then go to File > Run new task and type cmd.
Update Drivers:
Use the following command to update drivers:
pnputil /add-driver <path_to_driver> /install
Replace <path_to_driver> with the path to the driver file.
