Troubleshooting black screen issues on HP Notebooks: Click here to view the instructions!

Hp Envy x360 convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm looking for an active stylus pen that will work to take notes on my laptop. I've looked at the Hp active stylus pen document and that didn't help and I've gotten conflicting information about those pens anyway. I can't even find my specific model name. All I get from system information is "Hp envy x360 convertible" and the product number "x0529ua#aba". I don't need the pen to do anything fancy like art I just need to be able to write while my hand is on the screen.

First of all, not all touchscreens support active stylus. Many smartphones and tablets do the same. Please check the following compatible list to select a right one.

If your machine is not on the list, come back later for more updates.

Regards.

I've looked at that document and several other HP documents and none have helped me because I can't decipher the product names. I know that many HP Envy x360s are on the list but I don't know if mine is one. That is actually why I posted here in the first place. I looked on that document and not a single one of the modle numbers even resembled mine. In my search I came across someone who ended up with a different modle name that was similar to the ones on the document when they gave someone their product number. I was hoping someone would be able to help me figure out if mine is just not showing the right thing or if my computer, which I was told by the seller would work with active stylus, wouldn't be able to use an active stylus.
