HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I've bought a Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxx one month ago. when I'm working with OneNote, the pen doesn't work well: sometimes it track a horizontal lines, isn't fluent. I've tried to calibrate the pen but it didn't resolve the problem. How I can resolve? Can I update others drivers?

Thanks for the support

Gabriele

Not sure if this will help resolve the issue in OneNote or not -- the following is provided as a friendly "FYI" in hopes that the information is at least relevant.

There are two compatible pens listed for this computer.

HP Tilt Pen (Microsoft)

x* - Computers that support the HP Pen can also support the HP Tilt Pen, but the tilt performance might not work on older computers.

Hi Dragon-Fur,

thank you for the support. I've read the documents, very interesting but they haven't resolve my issue; I've installed the file sp82491.exe too. The driver version of “HID-compliant pen”  is 10.0.17763.1 (date 06/21/2006) and there aren't avaible upgrades. I'm using the 1MR94AA pen.

Kind regards,

Gabriele

That is unfortunate.

The date on the driver must be mis-leading - there were no Active Stylus devices in 2006 (certainly not of the pen type to which we are referring).

Regardless, considering the pen is now (presumably) riding on updated drivers, there is naught else to from that perspective.

If the pen has not had a fresh, good battery, consider changing the battery.

At the moment, I don't have any other information; if I do find something I will update my post.

Final thought: If the issue is only noticable with OneNote, see if you can find out whether your OneNote software can be updated.  I believe that OneNote is a subset of Microsoft Office in which case available updates might depend on the version of Office Software.

Hi Dragon-Fur,

for the date of the driver I thought the same thing.. I'll try to change the battery (but I don't think that something change). I contacted MIcrosoft for knowing if the issue is due to oneNote, but they said me that the problem is the pen and I must update it, or less probabily, it's a hardware problem, so the problem isn't onenote.

thanks for your time.

Kind regards,

Gabriele
