Want to connect two external monitors to my HP Envy x360 laptop and have one 4k gaming module already connected via HDMI so would like to know options to connect the second and whether I can use a really old Dell LCD monitor (2005) perhaps using a VGA to USB adaptor to the USB C port ? The old Dell monitor does also have USB ports too so that may also be an option. In any case want to be sure that Windows 10 will recognise the second external monitor if connected this way.
Also, in time I will buy a second 4K monitor and would like to know how best to connect this - via the USB C port or other USB ? What adaptor would I need for this ?
As the Laptop has a Ryzen processor there is no Thunderbolt option.
Any ideas ?

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Step 1: Connect the second display
- Step 2: Configure the display
- Step 3: Enhance and personalize your displays (optional)
- Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04641829 to complete the troubleshooting steps.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
