When I purchased my laptop is was a 2 in 1 convertable laptop to tablet and was touch screen and I used a pen on it for drawing. After downloading the windows 11 os system the touch screen and pen driver is no longer available for download and it says its no compatable with my laptop. How is that possible. Is this fixable? Most people said to go back to windows 10 but when i go to recovery and go back it says that option is no longer available for my device. Can someone please help me

Stylus pen is typically handled by the Synaptics driver that I found at the software list for your system.

Our expert @Paul_Tikkanen may know where a newer driver is.

Hi, @awilliams1027
AFAIK, sp140956 - Synaptics Precision Touchpad Filter Driver has no relation to the touchscreen not working.
There are no standalone drivers for the touchscreen. Those drivers should have been installed automatically by W11.
I have a HP Envy x360 15-ee0047nr with a touchscreen and clean installed both W10 and W11 on it and no separate drivers were required for the touchscreen to function.
If you can't figure out why the touchscreen isn't working, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
