Hello,
I have already performed every reccommend troubleshooting tip found regarding a fix for the sudden stoppage of touch screen for my all-in-one but I have not found the drivers that "should" be available for download. Was any ever able to locate the touchscreen drivers that work and do not render the message, "the firmware is for ILITEK touchscreen only"?
Additionally, if there are any HP techs available, please provide feedback specifically on how to obtain the drivers that were removed from my computer via updates. Thank you.

Unfortunately HP are taking the "ostrich" approach to resolving this problem - burying their heads in the sand and hoping that everyone will go away! It's clear from the many posts on the same subject, both here and across the Internet, that a combination of a Windows 10 Update and a BIOS update have destroyed the touchscreen functionality and clearly it is not a priority for HP to unwind their mess.
Only by buying Apple or Dell next time round will HP ever learn their lesson on this one - it is a travesty of customer service and a complete lack of technical support - I fully expect some HP wannabe tech service agent suggest a factory reset and ask to be praised for their recommendation.
