Product: HP ProBook 4530s Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Several nights ago the amber LED over the power plug in started flashing.  I had never before noticed that there was an LED there.  When I pushed on the power plug it stopped flashing.  When I pulled the plug out and then replugged the LED went dark.  What does the LED signify and why did it do all those things?
