Appearing Windows reference guide
01-17-2021 06:40 PM - edited 01-17-2021 06:41 PM

Windows 8 reference guide is appearing on the screen again and again -
as I would press F1 button all the time. I close this window, but it goes on and on. Could be some problem in contacts of this button? Would like to know how to turn it off finally.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
- Could you please share the picture of the pop-up screen?
- Have you tried ending the task using windows task manager?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
- Press "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" Key or "Window + X" Key and click the Task Manager option.
- Click on the "Processes" Tab.
- Select a process you want to kill, and perform one of the actions below. Press the Delete key. Click on the End task button. Right-click on the process, and click on End task.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
