Appearing Windows reference guide

HP Recommended
HP 15-af002ur
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Windows 8 reference guide is appearing on the screen again and again -

as I would press F1 button all the time. I close this window, but it goes on and on. Could be some problem in contacts of this button? Would like to know how to turn it off finally.

@poetmus

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Could you please share the picture of the pop-up screen?
  • Have you tried ending the task using windows task manager?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  • Press "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" Key or "Window + X" Key and click the Task Manager option.
  • Click on the "Processes" Tab.
  • Select a process you want to kill, and perform one of the actions below. Press the Delete key. Click on the End task button. Right-click on the process, and click on End task.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
