@OT73 Does this mean the issue is now resolved after you followed the second proposal? If not, please let me know exactly what's happening after the second set of steps were followed, so I can help you accordingly,
That said, I request you to create a new post related to the printer concern and I'll be happy to help resolve/identify that issue for you.
You may click here to learn more about posting in the right thread.

Hi!
I tried to find my way with the first proposal, but didn’t really get it. What I found is not identical to your instruktions, and there was no ”mixed” to be chipsen. As seen in the screenshot.
When starting with the second one I thought that you might have misunderstood. Seems I’m now trying to fix a wi-fi- related issue, when in fact the problem occurs when I’m not using the wi-fi but instead the built-in 4G modem and also using the laptop as a hotspot, sharing ”4G Internet” to other devices.
So:
1. So far I tried none of the proposals.
2. I did try some new diagnostic tool from HP. I also have updated the graphics driver.
3. When testning 4G connection the issue seems to be gone. The screen was fine. However there might be no challenge for it since all other devices were still on the wi-fi.
4. The printer issue is the one giving me a ..... BLEEP...... That issue has a separate report. Can you see it on ”My posts”?

@OT73 If none of the steps I suggested have worked for you, I recommend the below alternative solution to resolve the issue with auto-rotate on your Spectre x2 laptop:
- Hold down the ctrl and alt keys at the same time and then press the up arrow key while you are still holding down the Ctrl + alt keys.
- Click the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator icon in the system tray.
- Select Graphics Properties.
- Click on Display Settings.
- Check the box labeled Enable Rotation and then click Apply.
- Click OK to confirm the change.
- The rotation feature is now enabled.
Once done, please follow the below steps to fix the 4G Modem adapter issue:
- Find your wifi adapter
- open properties/configure
- go to the "Power Management" tab
- uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
Let me know how that pans out,

Hi!
I think I need to clarfy, since I have discussed several issues in the same thread (sorry for that, but my intetion was to keep you supporting me....). Anyway:
The screen autorotate was fixed already after updating Bios, thanks to your support! Great
The issue with the 4G is with the integrated 4G modem in the laptop and possibly also using the laptop as "wifi hotspot" for other devices. My guess was that this was in fact overloading the laptop, so it couldn´t keep the screen in good shape. Maybe that was totally wrong and it seems it doesn´t matter, since also that issue seems to have been resolved with the new bios or something connected to that. That´s also great, since this was never adressed previously by hp support and was reported 6 months ago.
The remaining issue is with the printer, not being redy to print when needed, although always connected to the local wireless network. That is described in detail in another thread on "My posts". Can you find that?

@OT73 I appreciate the clarification, and I'm glad both auto-rotate and the 4g model issue is fixed,
As for the printer, I see that you've done pretty much everything that could possibly resolve the issue, if that doesn't work, I recommend performing a clean installation of the printer drivers using the below steps:
- Press "Windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window.
- Type "services.msc" to get Services - Go to "Print spooler" - Right-click and "Stop" the service.
- Now again open "Run" - Type "spool" and ok - Go to PRINTERS folder - delete everything in that folder.
- Go to services again - Start the print spooler.
- Now check for issue resolution.
- If the issue persists, unplug the USB cable from the printer (if present).
- Go to Control panel - Programs and feature - Select all the HP printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel - Devices and printer - Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to the Run window, type - "c:/programdata" - Go to the Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
- Restart your computer.
Then, use this link to access the HP website, find the drivers compatible with your windows and install it: Click here
I hope that answers your query,

@OT73 Once you enter the HP folder under Program data, you should be able to identify the name of your printer, please delete those files and then complete the rest of the steps to resolve the issue,
Let me know if you need anything else.

Well. As shown in the jpg there are several HP (or Hewlet Packard) folders. I cannot identify wich one belongs to the printer.
When I restart the printer (tried a number of times) it goes online and indicates "Ready". Then it tries to print the spooled .pdf - file seems to get stuck and is not printed for a long (>10min) time. Also if i cancel all print jobs and restarts printer it goes "Ready", but same thing if i try to print a document (pdf). Copy seems to work fine though. After about 15 or so minutes it self-cancelled the "Printing document", but automatically started it again. New wait while "Printing document". It actually starts off and sounds like it is feeding a paper or so but then goes silent for a long duration.
I remember this happening previously and I noticed a couple of days later the file was printed, but it´s reasonable to expect a printjob to be executed within seconds, rather than days - right?
Now I emptied the spooler, ran the print and scan doctor, reinstalled, restarted, restarted the router, updated drivers, bios etc etc so many times i cannot keep track anymore. The printer is soon approaching one year and i didn´t get one single week of seamless printing.
