Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently purchased an HP Victus 15.6 laptop equipped with a GTX 1650 graphics card and i5-12450H processor. However, I have been experiencing some significant issues with the battery life since day one. In fact, the battery only seems to last for up to 3 hours maximum, which is a significant problem for me since I am always on the move and need to rely on my laptop for extended periods of time.

I have done some research and found that this issue appears to be unique to the i5-12450H version of the Victus laptop. Interestingly, I haven't come across any reports of poor battery life on the Ryzen version of the same model. This leads me to believe that there may be some inherent issue with the i5-12450H version that is causing the battery to drain at a much faster rate than it should.

I am now left wondering if there is any possible fix for this problem. I have tried all of the standard fixes, such as lowering the screen brightness and disabling any unnecessary applications or programs, but nothing seems to be helping. I am hesitant to invest in an external battery pack, as I believe this is a problem that should be resolved by the manufacturer.

Overall, I am disappointed with the battery life of my HP Victus 15.6 laptop, and I am hoping that there is a solution out there that can help me to overcome this issue. If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has any suggestions for a possible fix, I would be grateful for any advice you could provide.
