1. I seldom use the laptop but from the first week I encoutered sudden actions on the screen like I'm touching the screen, while I didn't do anything.
2. Although I don't use this laptop oftenly, after 6months the battery seems to drain within 5 to 10min.

@pvanbeveren, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing two issues with your HP Spectre x360 14-eu0000, unexpected touchscreen behavior and rapid battery drain. Let's address both step-by-step:
Touchscreen Acting on Its Own (Phantom Touches)
This is often caused by hardware interference, driver issues, or environmental factors. Here's what you can try:
Clean the Screen
- Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to gently clean the screen. Smudges or moisture can sometimes cause false touches.
Update Touchscreen Drivers
- Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.
- Expand Human Interface Devices.
- Right-click HID-compliant touch screen → Select Update driver → Choose Search automatically.
Calibrate the Touchscreen
- Go to Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Tablet PC Settings → Click Calibrate.
BIOS and Firmware Update
- Visit the HP Software and Driver Downloads page
- Enter your product: HP Spectre x360 14-eu0000
- Download and install the latest BIOS and firmware updates.
Perform a Touchscreen Diagnostic
- Use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool:
- Press Esc repeatedly at startup → Press F2 → Choose Component Tests → Select Touch Screen Test.
Battery Draining Quickly After 6 Months
This could be due to battery wear, background processes, or a calibration issue.
Battery Health Check
- Download and run HP Support Assistant: Download here
- Go to Battery Check under My Notebook → Battery.
BIOS Battery Test
- Restart your laptop → Press Esc repeatedly → Press F2 → Select Component Tests → Power → Battery Test.
Battery Calibration
- Follow HP's guide to calibrate your battery:
HP Notebook PCs - Testing and calibrating the battery (Windows) | HP® Support
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
