Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop was in last weeks flood and might have gotten slightly wet. When I tried to start it, the screen flashed bright white and went black. I can boot my laptop and the desktop shows fully if a flashlight is directed to it. Of course the same is if I connect it with HDMI to an outside screen. I have ordered a new inverter board. My question is this is he only component that might be broken or there is a back light and I cannot ascertain if it is a separate part or it in included on the inverter board .

I do see that above my computer listed in my profile did not populate so I am going to list it here
