Hello Lil Boy blue,
I tried this :
"Turn off the computer.
Disconnect all connected devices and cables, Media Drives, USB drives, printers, & faxes.
Remove media from internal drives, and remove any recently added internal hardware.
Do not disconnect the monitor, keyboard, mouse, or power cord.
Turn on the computer and repeatedly press the F11 key, about once every second,
until the Choose an option screen is displayed, and then continue.
On the Choose an Option screen, click Troubleshoot, and work your way through the screens."
I started the system recovery that was ok, but then my laptop restarted but still black screen.
So I try starting again in safe mode. But now I got this Pop-up:
"Windows Installing
The installation could not be done in Safe mode. Start up the computer again if you want to continu with the installation of windows."
So because I did the system recovery now want my laptop install windows again. But I can't do it in Safe mode, and In normal mode I still got my black screen 😞 😞 :(.
So now it's in safe mode become also a problem for starting up :(.
Any suggestions? Think my laptop is death :(.
The problem started when I was using Zwift on my televison with a HDMI cable connected between laptop and Televison.
Then It crashed suddenly :(.

I did the follow test:
Connected my laptop with televison with a HDMI cable and start up my laptop. Then everytime I got this screen, it goes very fast away.
They say on the screen:
"Disable Bios memory options such as caching or shadowing..."
Can i do that and how? There is something wrong with my display driver...?
Anyone with a solution?

Hello,
Thanks for the answer. I read the articles you post to me.
But I only have acces to my bios.
I can't start my laptop in safe mode (ask for installing windows, such as I said before). I tried safe mode with network, safe mode with command prompt. But everytime my laptop ask for installing windows and then I got a pop up, that windows can't be installl in safe mode. Before safe mode worked but when I did the system recovery with the HP recovery manager it won't work anymore.
So The only option I have is starting in normal mode. But then after the windows logo appear I got my black screen.
Is there a possibility for fixing the problem from my Bios because that's the only thing I have acces to.
I am not such a professional.. So I think there was no solution in the articles you post.
I hope you understand me thanks.

Hi,
Maybe I have an other option?
I found today 2 system recovery dvd voor windows 7. (I ordered them a few years ago because my hard disk crashed from my HP laptop, the same laptop I now have the problems with). A person on this community helped me installing my new hard disk and with the revovery DVD's for installing windows 7.
Could I do something with the DVD's and can you tell me the steps I need to take?
I also found one "application and driver recovery CD".

This First part only works when a valid Recovery Partition is enabled.
If it displays an error message then move onto the Second part,
OR if you have data you wish to try and save using the XCOPY command.
Then create your own Repair/Recovery/Rebuild/Re-install media or buy a set from HP.
Turn off the computer.
On the Choose an Option screen, click Troubleshoot, and work your way through the screens.
Second Part:-
This may require another PC. Find and Download your .iso from…
(You will need a NON_OEM key for W7;
W8.x and W10 should activate automagically from their embedded licence key.)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
For when it’s a NON MS OS ( iOS / Linux ) creating the install media.
www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO
A 3rd party site like…
https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-iso-download-tool
Expand/Extract/Burn the iso Image onto a DVD/USB as needed.
Microsoft’s Creator Tool will make the required DVD or USB.
Even though it has NO actual HP software/drivers included, you may be able to
XCOPY the C:\Users\* area onto a ‘large’ USB stick, via the Command Prompt.
You’ll need to try various drive letters; D:..-..Z: until it’s matched - could be G; mine’s S:
C:\>XCOPY C:\Users\* S:\ /e /i /h (then files like those 3 listed below get copied over)
C:\Users\desktop.ini
C:\Users\All Users\agent.1509128044.bdinstall.bin
C:\Users\All Users\HP Deskjet 2540 series\Help\flash\zoom.swf
Then you can try System Recovery Options / Advanced Options shown in the screenshots.
NB:- W7 Try running a Startup Repair more than once for a full fix.
NB: - W10 Begin with the Automatic Repair, then Startup Settings etc.
From either the C:\ or the X:\ prompt try the following
cd boot
bootrec /FixMBR
bootrec /FixBoot
bootrec /RebuildBCD
If the above FAILS then please try:-

I did a b ios recovery but that also don't help such as you suggested in the link.
What Can I do with this you suggested:
"...Even though it has NO actual HP software/drivers included, you may be able to

.....
"
I can't write C:\... you give me a solution not for my problem... you just copy paste a general text...
I can't install windows... how can I install Lubuntu then???

Your OP said "In safe mode it works normal and see my desktop and everything works.
What should I do?"
I have no idea.
On my PC, if I can boot a USB bios stick, I can boot Lubuntu.
Lubuntu does not need to install onto a HDD. It runs in ram.
If I can get Lubuntu to boot I can view the HDD save files, etc etc.
Format, partition, recover files and partitions etc etc.
It is a complete OS in it's own right and outperforms Windows in many areas.
Everytime a thought occurs to me and I offer it, you change the problem,
" I can't write C:\... you give me a solution not for my problem... you just copy paste a general text...
I can't install windows... how can I install Lubuntu then???
Pff... "
So just use it as a paperweight or doorstop.
BYE.
