I faced this with a secondary monitor.

did you spill any liquid on it? by mistake or anything?

Do you use a cleaning spray that came with your laptop or bought for your laptop?

Hey there! @Harshalijagtap, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you have display issues with your laptop.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

Does the issue persist in BIOS?

As you mentioned you see a black spot on the laptop screen.

If the issue does not persist in BIOS try updating the graphics driver and BIOS on your PC.

Try performing a BIOS default on your PC and check if it helps.

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Also, Uninstall the graphics driver from device manager and install the latest drivers and BIOS from the link below.

Update the BIOS using this link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp86501-87000/sp86793.exe

Also, update the graphics driver using this link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69501-70000/sp69589.exe

You can update the graphics driver using HP support assistant

If you see the black spots in BIOS, it is certainly a hardware issue with your PC.

If there are no physical damages occurred to your PC. The laptop would be serviced under warranty.
