Black spots on my Laptop screen, how to get rid plz give proper suggessctions

on my HP laptop last few days there is a small black line found then after it turned into a black spot n increasing daily n now there r 3 to 4 spots on my laptop screen display. Plz give right suggestion to get rid from d same.

Connect an external monitor to check if the dots persists.

You may also observe this on the BIOS screen:

Turn off the computer, press the power button, and then repeatedly press the F10 key. Normally, the Compaq or HP splash screen displays press F10 to enter the BIOS just before the BIOS menu opens.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
2. Check for updates. 
3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Also, check for any pending windows update. Reboot the computer.
