HP Spectre x2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!
When I share a mobile hotspot from the 4G modem on the Spectre X2 the screen goes flashing or stays black. It could be recovered by shortly pressing the power button 2 times. It also sometimes happens when not sharing a hotspot, but only using the 4G-modem.

Updated Bios, to solve another issue with the version posted late 2018 on product website on hp.com. I also updated graphics driver to be sure (tried this to begin with, but no luck then). Anyway - problem seems to have dissapeared.

@OT73

Welcome back to HP Support Forums.

I would like to help

Do you experience the same problem when using the 4G Modem with other devices?

May I know since when are you facing this issue? Do you experience this problem when connecting to other Networks?

To assist you better please provide me with the complete Notebook model or product number

You can refer to this Link: hp.care/2bygf7l for help in locating the Product Number.

Keep me posted

Thank you 😊

It´s not a external 4G modem. It´s the built-in modem. I´m not really sure it´s really connected to the modem as such, but rather that when the PC seems to be a little under pressure, the screen goes black. It sometimes works to press the on-off button first once, then a second time to pause and restart the pc. Also it seems to be more stable when doing something that prioritizes the screen - as watching a clip or Netflix etc.

Anyone there?

Hi!

Not sure where this item ended up. I posted the requested info, but then total silence. Could we please start this up again, or refer me to the local support (I have a printer issue as well to be resolved by them).

Best regards,
Oskar
