Pavilion dv2000
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have hp dv2000 and it screen is broken so I wanted to connect it to external monitor but anytime I connect it to the monitor its stays blank and when windows setup starts then its starts working fine.

The problem is I can't see anything when the I turn on the laptop but when windows is starting, it comes on and I can't enter into bios settings when ever I try it goes blank ...

Can every body help me.

Sorry, no.  You can't really use an external monitor as a replacement for a laptop screen because the monitor won't work until the Windows drivers get loaded.  Thus, you won't be able to use it for any pre-Windows stuff like BIOS option changes.
