Hello,
I am repairing a notebook of my neighbour, needed a new keyboard because fn key was stuck. So the only thing that has been changed was the keyboard and it works fine.
2 days later I wanted to start the notebook and I didn't get/see the bios loadscreen, after that I do get the windows loading screen but with 2 or 3 blue lines from top to bottom (1 or 2 pixels wide). Then I see windows desktop for like 1sec and the screen goes black (backlight still on and changeable). With an external screen it works fine in windows. GPU drivers are updated.
What could the problem be? Thanks in advance.

Vertical lines on your HP Pavilion G7 1091ed notebook.I would like to help you resolve this issue.
I appreciate you for taking an effort to check with the external monitor.
- You said it works fine on an external monitor, this shows that it is not an issue with the video card or any software.
- This seems to be a hardware issue,
- I request you to contact HP phone support for further assistance.
