HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using chrome and a program called "brackets" there is no fuzzy screen. But using other programs such as Unity or the setup wizard, gives a fuzzy, blurry screen. I just got my laptop, and it is brand new.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are having issues with the display on certain applications.

I'll be glad to assist you 🙂

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the bios and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

It never worked before, and everything is up to date. I have tried trouble shooting, I looked into my graphics card, and I don't know what is wrong.

Hi,

I have an Envy x360 it's a few weeks old and from the begining I've had the same problem, I've done the updates and the steps in the article posted.

Some items are crisp and clear but others are blurry.  it's hard to work.  Office items (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, outlook) are all blurry I had to change email client to thunderbirs because I was getting headaches.  When I install or update a program it;'s blurry so it's not just 3rd party programs

@ENVYx360_inTO,

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, you're having an issue with display quality.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

When was the last time it worked fine?

Have you performed troubleshooting steps mentioned in the earlier thread

In the meanwhile, let's try these steps:

Perform Windows Update and also perform HP Support Assistant updates

  1. Click My devices on the top of the HP Support Assistant window, and then click Updates in the window for your device.

Figure: Updates in the My PC box

    The Updates window opens.

  2. If HP Support Assistant detects updates, a list of updates displays in the Updates available window.

    Figure: Updates window

     Updates window
  3. To download updates, click Check for updates and messages and then download updates.

Let me know how this goes,

Have a great day 🙂

Cheers!
