Product: HP Laptop Envy 13 aq1007ac

I just bought the Envy 13 aq1007ac lap top and to my surprise, the display is super grainy and pixelated!

It's ridiculous for a high end pricy laptop like this to be so grainy and pixelated. 

You can see the lines that goes up and down and its more obvious in bright colours

 

The display resolution is at 1920x1080 recommended

The graphics card is the Intel(R) UHD Graphics 

 

Is there anyway to fix this ??

Hello @Raynyn,

 

As noted by HP ENVY - 13-aq1007ca's specifications, this device has an HP Sure View display.

 

HP Sure View is a privacy feature enabled by pressing F1 on the keyboard to prevent prying eyes from looking at your screen.

 

Unfortunately, one downside of this feature is that it compromises display quality and colour reproduction. I'm afraid what you're seeing is normal.
