Product: HP Elitebook 840 G5

While messing in the bios I reset the bios and later when I boot into windows the brightness adjustment function keys didn’t work. I installed windows 11 and it was not fixed, then I reinstalled windows 10 again, the problem persisted. Later, I figured out that all I had to do was go into the

bios > advanced > system options > HP applications driver (enable it).

 

I even made a video explaining the whole thing since it was not actually solved in any community discussion and I for some reason can not reply to them(!)
