@hannanshaikh,

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Flower_Bud is at your service.

As I understand, your notebook makes a buzzing sound when playing audio on battery power.

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

When was the last time it worked fine?

Did you perform a battery test?

Does the notebook stay powered on battery power (Without charger plugged in)?

Do you hear a buzzing sound in headphones?

Are you referring to having issues with Hotkeys on your keyboard?

While you respond to that, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

Let's run a battery test: Click Here

BIOS Update: Follow steps from the article to perform BIOS update.

Uninstall and reinstall battery drivers:

1) In the search box, type and open “Device Manager”.

2) Expand “Batteries”.

3) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.

4) Click on “Uninstall”.

5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver

6) Shutdown the computer.

7) Remove the battery for a minute and then put it back in.

😎 When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.

9) Go to Device Manager.

10) Expand Batteries.

11) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.

12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"

Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.

Also, perform Chipset drivers update from HP Website.

Let me know how that pans out

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And feel free to ask any other queries as well,

Considering, this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.
