Hello docJaredP, it's a pleasure to help you at all. Sorry for so much testing, it is often difficult to find the solution and you have to try drivers. You are not doing anything wrong, it just happens that some drivers cause problems and others do not.
You are going to uninstall the graphics driver again and I am going to leave you the most recent driver available from the official Intel website, then as always, restart the laptop and install it, apart from that I am going to leave you the Intel Graphics Command Center. It will order you to download it from the Microsoft Store, from there you install it. I hope it solves your problem.
