Fn + Brightness, mute mic and screen option keys stopped working in early may. I suspect the win 10 april update. I have tried updating the videodriver and HP Wireless Button-driver, + enabling the generic PnP display. All have failed. Feel like such a noob. SOS! (",)

The easiest way to solve this is to update the Keyboard driver by pointing the 'update driver' location to the c:/SWSetup/SPxxxxx/InstallFiles/yourOS/yourX32orX64/
To find the SPxxxxx file you need to search HP support for your model and download the correct hotkeys driver for your machine. You can run the file and it will install and some of the keys will work, but if your brightness control doesn't work, then follow the steps above and it will work after a reboot.
This will install your keyboard driver with HP hotkey support and enable the brightness control. This is all you need to do, there is no need to update other drivers.
