Product: HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9Y1AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My brightness indicator keeps popping up and staying there, continuously decreasing my brightness to the minimum value. I have already tried switching off the auto brightness, but that did not help. What should I do next?

HP Recommended

Disconnect any external keyboard.  If connected to laptop and check if it still remains then on laptop keyboard, press the brightness-up and brightness-down keys repeatedly. Check whether the brightness-down key, Fn key, or a nearby key is physically stuck.
