I dropped my headphones on the my laptops screen and it cracked it. So now i cant see the screen at all. Im not sure what product I should get to replace it. Its also touch screen so it makes me think that fixing by myself would be hard. Should I go to a professional? Or can it be done at home?

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,
Have you tried to contact our HP phone support for assistance?
If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, etc.) there could be a additional charges in such cases to get the computer repaired via HP service centers.
After reviewing your post, I did go through the Product specifications and found that your PC has been shipped with 15.6" diagonal HD SVA WLED-backlit touch screen (1366 x 768) Display
In order to check the compatibility, I would recommend you go through the Maintenance and Service guide of your notebook. Here you will find the parts which are compatible and tested on your notebook.
Chapter 1. Product description - Page number 2
Chapter 3. Illustrated Parts catalog - Page number 23
Raw display panel (39.6-cm [15.6-in]) ---- HD, BrightView, touch 809612-013
Chapter 6: Removal and replacement procedures for Authorized Service Provider parts - page number 72 to 82
Please note, these are the parts which are tested on your PC, If you wish to try other parts you can try it at your own discretion, HP Doesn't recommend any upgrade/downgrade of any hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product. It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance.
Alternatively, If you are comfortable in replacing the part by yourself, You can use the HP Partsurfer to identify the part: Click here & order it via the HP Parts store (Click here).
If you're not comfortable then I would suggest you contact our HP support team for further assistance.
HP support team can be reached on this link.
Let me know if this helps!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂
