Product: HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ee0013dx
Hello,
I have a 15-inch HP Envy X-360 convertible computer. Unfortunately, one day while I folded back the screen, I heard a crack. I inspected the computer and realized that in the lower right-hand section, the screen next to the hinge had popped out of the casing and the insides were exposed. As I tried to bend the screen back to the original down position, the hinge moved in an irregular motion which caused friction that further split the screen and caused small black bits to come out of the computer. I no longer have a warranty on my computer which expired about 2 years ago. Besides the expired warranty, I believe that this is simply a bad design or possible faulty product. It would be really nice if you could escalate my request so that I could hopefully get my screen and hinge replaced. If not, I've seen one of the repair videos that details replacing the hinge. I could not, however, find the correct part number for the new hinge. If someone could help me find the correct hinge, that would be great! Thank you so much!
