I accidently dropped and broke the screen and the frame of my HP Envy Laptop. The laptop is 2 1/2 years old and it still works perfectly. I'm trying to decide whether it is worth repairing. Was trying to contact someone from HP to ask that question but have had difficulty finding a telephone number or chat session.
Any thoughts?

This one is not looking that good, I'm afraid; the system might be beyond economic repair.
The parts you will need are listed in the Maintenance and Service Guide (click - it opens at the relevant page). The display panel, 809386-001, does not appear to be available from HP Parts, HP PartSurfer is not giving any alternative part numbers and the handful of reputable sources I was seeing in an online search want crazy money for that panel - over US$500. That is just the panel; I didn't even bother looking for the mechanical components you need.
It is possible that the supply of parts for that model has almost gone now, making any repair uneconomic or even impossible.
Perhaps someone else has some suggestions about where to find parts. I'm not even finding anything on eBay - and there there is no guarantee about what you are buying. If you can't find any parts then the labour side of this (if you are unhappy to attempt the repair yourself) is irrelevant.
If you want to contact HP directly, try the Contact HP link. Change the country at the bottom of the page before proceeding if you are not in the United States.
