HP Envy x360 13-AY0045AU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a HP Envy x360 13-AY0045AU Ryzen 5 Hexa Core 4500U.

I see that the display segment at the screen edge, near the left of the camera module is not fitting well within the laptop casing.

On running my fingers along the edge of the screen, I can feel a small bump/bulge underneath the display, which is pushing the display out of the laptop casing.

The laptop is brand new and it was delivered to me on the 9th of December 2020.

I have raised a case with HP support.

Would be great if someone can throw some light on what this issue could be.

Thanks in advance !!

I reviewed your post and I understand that there is a bulge on the display.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

The laptop needs to checked physically to understand the exact issue and the reason. As you have mentioned that you have already contacted support, I am positive that they will take care of the issue.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
