CAN I USE MY LAPTOP AS A SECOND MONITOR?

Hello Everyone,

Good day!

I believe I have a hp laptop 15 bso13dx or HP laptop 15-bsOxx I'm not sure which one is correct. The model number below written below my laptop says it's bso13dx  but when I go to device specs it says hp laptop 15-bs0xx.

here are my questions and I would like to thank everyone in advance for any help

1. Does the hdmi port on my laptop support input and output?

2.Can I use my laptop as a second monitor/ extended monitor? I have a imac late 2013 and I would like to use my laptop as a second monitor

3. If I can use my laptop as second monitor what type of cables do I need?

Your machine probably is an HP 15-bs013dx (zero, not letter o) which is a model/product of the HP 15-bs0xx series.

1. Its HDMI port in an OUT port. Connecting 2 OUT ports together won't give you anything.

2. No, it won't work as a monitor for a Mac machine. They do not talk same language. But please try
