Pavilion DV6 6169Sl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

i would upgrade the screen on my notebook pavilion DV6 6169SL from the built-in 1366x768 to  a 1920x1080 display. I have find the following product

https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/screen-part-number/B156HW01%20V.5/

Do i need an additional cable for this LCD? and in case can you suggest me a part number?

Thanks very much!

@Gino77,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand you are looking to replace the screen for your HP Notebook. Don't worry I'll be glad to help you with this.

After going through your post, I did go through the Product specification and found that the display shipped is 39,6 cm (15,6") High-Definition LED HP BrightView Display (1366 x 768)

For more information, I would suggest you go through the Maintenance and Service guide of your notebook, Here you have a list of compatible and tested screen which are compatible for your notebook.

More over the Display assembly, includes the cable.   Display assembly (includes webcam, two microphones, and wireless antenna transceivers and cables).

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than glad to help you.

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
