Hi @Vivek1511,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!
To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?
Meanwhile, you can try these steps:
Check Connections: Ensure that all cables (such as power and video output cables) are properly connected and that the display is securely attached.
Restart the Laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve issues with unresponsive hardware.
Update Graphics Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest graphics drivers for your laptop model.
- On your laptop, go to the Device Manager, find the Display Adapters section, and update the driver from there.
Check Display Settings:
- Make sure the display settings are correct (resolution, display mode such as extend or duplicate).
- Access the display settings by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Display settings."
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Shut down the laptop completely and disconnect all peripherals.
- Remove the battery (if possible) and unplug the power adapter.
- Hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Reattach the battery and power on the laptop.
Test External Display:
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor to see if the display problem persists. This can help determine if the issue is with the internal display or the graphics card.
