@avacado, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Camera Permissions:

Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera and make sure apps can access the camera.

Restart the Laptop:

Restart your laptop to see if that fixes the issue.

Update Windows:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install any updates.

Update Camera Driver:

Right-click the Start Menu > Device Manager > Imaging Devices > Right-click camera > Update Driver.

Enable Camera in Device Manager:

In Device Manager, right-click the camera under Imaging Devices and select Enable.

Test with HP Support Assistant:

Open HP Support Assistant and run the Camera Test under Diagnostics.

Check if Camera Works in Another App:

Try the Camera app (search for it in Start Menu) to see if the camera works there.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
