Camera Privacy Switch Stuck

My laptop's camera Privacy toggle switch (which had been working fine) suddenly is stuck in the "Camera Off" position (LED light orange light constantly on), so I cannot access my built-in camera (see attached). I have rebooted the laptop, rolled back the latest Windows updates, ensured all drivers are up to date, and accessed the Camera App (it only displays the default camera-off icon (see attached). Nothing has worked. So, I'd appreciate a fix that turns my laptop camera back on. Thanks.

This looks like a hardware issue and we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers who should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support.
