Hey there!

Around three months ago I had to send my brand-new HP Envy x360 15 AMD back to HP for repairs since the processor, the main board, and the screen was defective. When I received my laptop back, it worked perfectly fine, aside the from the webcam shutter either being stuck or simply not there.

I honestly don't care too much about the shutter, but then I realized that my battery started going down really fast, like a lot faster than before....like it goes from 100% to 5% in about 3 hours. The Laptop page claimed it had up to 14 hours of battery life, which is what I got for a short while after sending in my laptop for repairs. The reason I have not sent my laptop for repairs again is that I can't afford to go a week without a laptop again due to ongoing projects.

And may I remind you guys again, the laptop isn't even six months old, I've never had this experience with an HP laptop before.

Can HP just send me a new model while I send them back this one? Or even an upgraded version for all the inconvenience?

I see you are experiencing Camera Shutter Problem, Fast Draining Battery, and Wi-Fi issues with the HP Envy x360 Notebook after repair. It is a hardware issue on the PC. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

Sorry for the late response!

I am planning to contact HP support by the end of this week. My main concern is having to send my laptop and not having one to use during the repairs/ replacement. Furthermore, Im concerned about additional problems arising from faulty repairs.

Also , would HP offer me a laptop to use during the repairs considering that the issues I'm currently facing resulted from a faulty repair?
