HP Recommended
Product: Probook 430 G3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

1) I have a Probook 430 G3

2) HD Webcam installed - it flickers and then stops

3) Have updated the drivers and also done all checks

4) Camera not stabilising 

 

Please help

HP Recommended

- Used bootable Ubuntu CD to check that the camera is actually working.

- "HP Image Assistant" found several outdatet drivers and BIOS

- use regedit

-- navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows Media Foundation \ Platform

-- add DWORD (32-Bit) "EnableFrameServerMode" 

-- Set above variable to "0"
