Hi,
I have a HP ENVY x360 - 15-aq160sa.
The built-in webcam does not work with the Windows 10 Camera app, it shows the view for a couple of seconds then the webcam turns off and then on again, then the cycle repeats.
If I try to use the webcam from the browser (e.g. at https://www.onlinemictest.com/webcam-test/), it works for ~8 seconds and then just shows a black view.
Windows Hello login (i.e. login by checking my face) has not worked consistently for some time, but I did not realise it may be related to a webcam issue.
I don't often use the webcam so I am not sure how long this issue has been present
I have checked device manager which reports that the webcam is working fine and that the latest driver is installed.
Windows 10 privacy permissions are set to allow the Camera app and the browser to use the webcam (as well as other apps).
I see an Error item and Information item in the Windows event viewer that occurs every two seconds that I have the Camera app open... I assume it is related and will paste in the details if asked.
Thanks /
