Hi @hebennet,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're encountering a camera-related error on your HP laptop. The error code you provided, "0xA00F4244 <NoCamerasAreAttached>," indicates that your system is unable to detect any cameras. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue.

  • Check Physical Connections: If your laptop has an external camera, ensure that it's properly connected to your computer. If it's an integrated camera, ensure there's no physical damage.
  • Device Manager Check: Go to Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start button and selecting it from the menu. Look for the Imaging devices section. If you see your camera listed here, right-click on it and select "Enable." If it's already enabled, try disabling and re-enabling it.
  • Update Camera Drivers: In Device Manager, right-click on your camera device and select "Update driver." Choose the option to search automatically for updated driver software. If there are any updates available, let Windows install them.
  • Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, Windows updates include fixes for hardware issues. Make sure your system is up to date by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • BIOS Update: Check if there's a BIOS update available for your HP laptop. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve hardware-related issues.
  • Run Hardware Troubleshooter: Windows includes a built-in hardware troubleshooter that can help identify and fix issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Hardware and Devices, and run the troubleshooter.
  • Reset Camera App: If you're using a specific camera app, try resetting it. Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Advanced options > Reset.
  • Third-party Software: If you recently installed any third-party camera-related software, try uninstalling it to see if it's causing conflicts.

By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and hopefully resolve the "NoCamerasAreAttached" error on your HP laptop.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
