So whenever I try to open my camera, I get this error code 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> and I can't even see my camera option in my device manager. I got this after I got my laptop back from a store after replacing my screen. I tried to contact Microsoft assistant but they couldn't help me with this either.

Hello.
Since the webcam is not shown in the Device Manager and there's no Other Devices category - to indicate devices without drivers - the webcam may be disabled in the computer BIOS settings. You can enter the BIOS settings by hitting F10 key when the computer starts and the HP logo is shown. Navigate with mouse or cursor keys and enable the webcam,
If the camera is already enabled or there is no option about webcam - and presumably your laptop has a webcam (!?) - the webcam hardware may be faulty. You can run HP hardware diagnostics by hitting F2 button when the computer starts and HP logo is shown on screen.
In any case, if you wish to continue this discussions, please include your computer model in your next reply.

Hi, I have tried looking up the webcam in my BIOS but there is no option for it and even when I run the BIOS for hardware diagnostics I don't see any option for webcam. I am using System Model- Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fb0xxx

Hello.
The BIOS will typically hide all options that do not apply - if the webcam hardware is not present any webcam options will also be hidden.
Since you obviously have a webcam - it is not an optional module in this laptop model - either the webcam module has failed or the internal webcam cable has failed or its connector has detached for some reason.
If you have warranty, contact HP support or a local HP laptop repair shop to have this problem fixed free of charge.
If your warranty has lapsed and you need/want to have the webcam fixed, the local HP laptop repair shop is the best option, but any laptop service really can have the webcam part replaced or checking the cable assembly and reseating the cable in its socket.
You can also take the laptop apart yourself to replace parts yourself but I advise against this unless you have serviced laptops before. The display is the most delicate part to operate in, and you will probably need to replace the adhesive material with new ones for the display cover and bezels when putting it all back together.
If you are interested, the Maintenance and Service Guide has instruction to replace the webcam module. The webcam module part number is N13328-001.
Keep in mind that the quickest and most econimic way to have webcam functionality is probably just to buy a USB webcam that can be attached to the top of the display whenever it is needed.
