HP Recommended

My HP Envy laptop has a camera toggle switch that remains illuminated, indicating that the camera is off. Pressing this does nothing. Additionally, the camera does not show up in the device manager, therefore I'm unable to update any driver. I have tried updating the BIOS from HP as well as resetting the computer. Both options worked for a brief period, but ultimately ended back in the present situation: no working camera. Please help!
