I tried to connect my EliteBook 830 G8 with my two monitors (KOORUI) with a USC-C HDMI adapter.
The KOORUI monitors have each one HDMI port, one VGA port and no DP ports.
The display didn't work although in Display settings the monitors were detectable.
This is a work laptop and at work it connects fine with the multiple monitors however that is via the HP dock and with DP cables.
Is the notebook compatible only with DP ports or is it possible to use a certain adapter to overcome the issue?
I tried with a USB-C adapter (Newmight the make / the notebook was listed as compatible in their description) but as I said it didn't work. I updated the drivers with my work IT people but still no joy.
Maybe I am asking the wrong way and my apologies for that.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

It specs
https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c06978057
It supports more than 2 external monitors using
- (1) HDMI 2.0 (cable sold separately)
- (2) USB Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports with USB4 support (SuperSpeed USB 20 Gbps is not available)
You can also daisy chain monitors using USB Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports
https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/tech-takes/how-to-daisy-chain-monitors
But your monitors are not suitable for thạt. You can try
Monitor 1: Direct HDMI cable
Monitor 2: USB-C to HDMI cable
Regards.
