Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HEy community 

I would like to use my HP Envy x360 laptop as a monitor for my iPad 5th generation (specifically for the app ProCreate to cast my drawing) however using an HDMI to USB-C adapter doesn't work and also I can't screen mirror through the "Projecting my display" optional setting. Is it even possible to mirror these two, will I need to download an app of some sort or am I using the wrong adapter?

ive checked this website. im wondering if my specific computer model doesnt support this because ive done quite a bit of research and bought an adapter and all but nothing is working.
