HI I was wanting to replace the screen on my laptop because it has quite a few dead pixels and the screen I have at the moment is not a touchscreen but I was wondering if I could replace it with a touchscreen instead?

No.
A touchscreen display screen has a connector that won't physically where the current display's connector plugs into your notebook's systemboard. You would have to replace the systemboard with one that is meant to have a touchscreen display.
With that said, your question of upgrading to a touchscreen display screen from a non-touchscreen display is not viable.
