Greetings @clone,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are facing touchpad issue with your computer.
Don't worry, I will be glad to help.
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Have you tried to update the drivers using HP Support Assistant?
Recommend you open device manager.
Uninstall the touchpad driver.
Delete the driver when prompted.
Restart the computer and run HP Support Assistant to update and install all the drivers for your computer. Click here to know more.
This should resolve the issue you are facing.
Also, refer HP Notebook PCs - Using the TouchPad or ClickPad (Windows 10)
Let me know how it goes.

My suggestion is to locate the driver's on HP's website. You should be able to search for them and download them to your computer or a jump drive.
Attach a USB mouse as you'll loose control once you remove the touchpad drivers, then making sure the mouse works, uninstall the drivers and reinstall the drivers you downloaded. Make sure the driver is for your computer.

Hi guys, seems i did sorted the issue!
So steps to reproduce were:
Go to driver manger uninstall remove - erase ClickPad driver (without saving it to the disc)
Reboot
Run Assistant, it do installs new driver out there
Reboot
go to Mouse & Touchpad settings disable palm guard, now it works!
Thank you.
